Millennials are less likely to always use a top sheet

However, it is notable that millennials are considerably less likely than other age groups to use top sheets. People aged 55 and up were the most likely group to use top sheets, with 79% saying they “always” or “often” use a top sheet. Only 6% of people in this age group said they “never” use a top sheet. Eighteen to 24-year-olds were more than twice as likely (13%) to say they “never” used a top sheet.

When it comes to gender, there is little difference. Men (65%) and women (68%) were almost equally likely to say that they “always” or “often” used top sheets. There was also very little difference between different regions of the US. Looking at political breakdowns, Republicans (61%) were the group most likely to “always” use top sheets, compared to 56% of Democrats and 53% of Independent voters.
